La grabacin de Alegra en la capital chilena es parte de la serie de producciones a realizarse en vivo en distintas ciudades latinoamericanas, la cual se inici con su anterior disco Dios es bueno. Siguiendo con la visin de esta serie, Alegra busca comunicar que Dios no slo es bueno sino tambin ALEGRE. Con la participacin especial de Elena Witt y Luis Pedraza.

Grabado en vivo el 17 de junio de 2006 en La Arena Santiago, en Santiago de Chile. La produccin fue lanzada el 31 de octubre de 2006 en formato CD, y ya est nominada a los premios Billboard Espaol. Alegra se encuentra nominada dentro de la categora Mejor lbum cristiano gospel del ao, la misma en la que Marcos Witt resultara ganador con el disco Dios es bueno el ao 2006.
